(6) 經痛肌肉痛時

薰衣草有消炎鎮痛的效果。對減輕女性月經痛楚和肌肉酸痛都有幫助。
最常用的方法就是熱敷。溫熱水中放四至七滴English Lavender或Lavandin精華油,用小毛巾沾滿後扭乾水份,敷在痛處,待涼了以後再重覆兩遍,或在敷上時,用一層保鮮紙覆蓋,外面在蓋上用乾衣機烘暖了的熱毛巾保溫。
以上方法尤其適合月經來潮時敷小腹和後腰及lower back pain。上班一族常有的頸椎和肩膀疼痛亦可用。
